The Chicken and the Egg

chicks candling poultry

The classes at Yankee Ridge School that participated in the Chickscope program made predictions, collected data, measured samples, wrote and drew pictures about their observations, and hatched eggs in their classrooms. Some of the questions they asked and answered were: What are the parts of an egg? What is an incubator? What is inside an egg? How do chicks get out of the egg? Which weighs more, the Chicken or the Egg?  Here are the processes they used to find the answers to their questions.
