Scrapbox Wars!

The goal for this third grade classroom was to design a structure that could support as much weight as possible. The students scavenged the classroom for craft and scrap materials to build the frameworks you see here. They then planned out their structures and built away. So far - in the middle of the testing process - some of the structures haven't broken yet with 38 pounds of sand on them!
