Inquiry Goes Commercial

Problem solving and opportunities for Inquiry abound in business - especially in this toy top company.  Prompted by the desire to purchase books for the school library to memorialize a teacher, the class designed and implemented a business.  From deciding on a name, to calculating supply needs, to designing, constructing, marketing, and selling these tops, Top Speed Inc used the Inquriy method not only to learn, but to better their school community.  The fruits of their labor will not only be the knowledge and problem solving skills gained, but can be seen in the new additions to the library's collection - also selected by the students with the help of their teacher, Martin Beberman.
